How many sessions does my dog realistically need?
Most puppies and adolescent dogs see remarkable, lasting changes within our standard 6-lesson package. We teach you, the guardian, how to handle and reward the behavior consistently between sessions. Complex behavioral rehabilitation (like deep-rooted leash reactivity) may take additional follow-up blocks.
Do you work with aggressive or highly reactive dogs?
Yes, we evaluate mild-to-moderate reactivity and fear aggression during an in-home assessment or dedicated Behavioural Consultation (1H45M) first. Safety is our priority, and we only employ positive reinforcement and counter-conditioning. We do not use choke chains, shock collars, or fear-based tools.
What should we have prepared for our first in-home lesson?
Please have high-value, pea-sized treats on hand (cooked chicken, cheese, or specialized training morsels), your pet’s standard 1.5m to 2m flat leash (no retractables), and a favorite interactive toy. Ensure your pet hasn’t eaten a large meal within an hour before training so they are eager to engage.
How does payment work for packages and house sitting?
Training packages are payable prior to or on the date of your initial session via EFT or SnapScan. For overnight house sitting assignments exceeding three consecutive days, a 50% deposit secures the reserved calendar slot, with the balance due upon return.
